When my sister Jenny was little, she had a hard time saying "Brandon". The name of my big brother who is 3 years older than Jenny and 7 years older than me. So she dubbed him "Bubba" and it stuck. To this day, he is still referred to as "Bubba" by my siblings and parents.
So this begs the question: Should I be concerned that Gabe (age=almost 2) pronounces "Max" (age 7) as "Ah-sssssss"...???
That's right. Say it out loud. "Ahssss".
Well?

Hope it doesn't stick! Our oldest used to pronounce frogs the same as the F-word. It raised many eyebrows but luckily we corrected it so here's hoping you can do the same...soon! But be sure to get it on tape before he pronounces it the right way!
I loved this post
Claudia
that's what I call Max anyway. Come on, you've called him that too. At least in your head. I knew it!
Nate
by the way, emily, ska is a drug, and you know it. haha
Nathan, don't make me come over there...!
(Where are you, anyway???)
Remind me to tell the story sometime about my former step-daughter learning to say "truck" when she was about this age.
Let's just say it started with F and made me about sideswipe the UPS truck that she was actually talking about.
This is the same child who would sing "I am a Child of God" in the bathtub.... in the most demonic growl you've ever heard in your life.
Kids. OY.
I LOVE it!!!!!!!!! I hope it sticks!!!!
