Monday night we had guests for dinner.
I wanted to impress them with my mad skillz so I made in the Bosch.
I was about to dump the dough onto the floured counter when something, (possibly a smell?) made me turn around.
Aww kids! You gotta love 'em!!!
(Actually, you don't, but it sure helps...!)
(The bread was very good, btw. Go to my recipe blog if you want the recipe.)
Em was a great/loving/tolerant mom as she let him continue to play in the baby powder for the next 20 minutes. Very cute! And she had that whole mess cleaned up by the time the guests arrived! Plus a pumpkin roll was baked!! Very Yum!
ReplyDeleteI'm one of your random readers, never commentors. But I'm trying to change my no good ways. I admit sometimes when I'm in the middle of something I let my two 1/2 year old daughter play in a mess until I'm ready to deal with it, clean it up. Besides, how can you not love him imitating you?
ReplyDeleteI'm going to try the bread recipe - thanks!
ReplyDeletefor a real treat and a knockout whole wheat bread for all to truly enjoy, ask FAE for papi's receipt for garlic-rosemary bread.
ReplyDeleteThat's why I never have guests over anymore, I'm waaay too high strung and would have snapped!
ReplyDeleteI've used Aunt Fae's Whole Wheat Bread for years and still have the original recipe card she gave it to me on--all smeared with crisco, flour, etc. It is the best! Cute little bottom. Love, Aunt Sue
ReplyDeleteGet some pants on that kid.
ReplyDelete-k-, being a 'newer' bloger and blogee, I am looking for the recipe blog so I can try that bread! HELP!! It's going to be a loonnng winter indoors, so I am trying to work on my 'skills' and actually start cooking/baking again! So I need recipes!
