And I did feel better and never published it.
But then I wanted to submit something to Mormon Mommy Blogs and being the lazy person I am, found something I'd already written. And they published it.
And I got negative comments for the FIRST TIME! (Which made me giggle.)
I've always known deep down that I'm a very controversial person. I think tomorrow I'll start a conversation about Gay Marriage.
(no. I wont.)
That was awesome! I sent an email to all my sisters to read it as well. I LOVE reading your blog and it is so fun to stay in touch with you, all the way in Japan. Hope all is well and you are enjoying your boys. Have a good one!
ReplyDeleteI LOVED your letter and I can so agree with many of the things you said and your feelings. Thanks for sharing!!!!
ReplyDeleteIf you happen to want to know who I am I have a private blog but you can e-mail me at wendelton@gmail.com and I will let you see my crazy life with a 3 year old boy and twin 14 month old twin girls!!
Loved it and I so relate!
ReplyDeleteI found your blog through that post and decided that you needed a new follower. I loved it. Your blog is great keep it up!
ReplyDeleteMany of the people who make comments, most assureadly do not have three or more, close together in age, active kids. (You were the last of five plus a foster brother thrown in the mix) I marvel that your mom kept her sanity dealing with six kids (and me). There are many stories that could be told by any mother of even one child. My mom once said, she never thought I'd make it out of Yellowstone Nat'l Park alive (I was about 6) I'm sure there were moms there thinking and saying she should supervise me more closely...Fun blog, we admire your parenting skills and love you, even though I freaked out at the pictures of Max repelling off some VERY HIGH sheer rock face.
ReplyDeleteDad
I loved that post. I love your blog too! I look forward to looking around and learning more about you.
ReplyDeleteI loved your letter and it is so true. I can totally relate. With 4 kids and the oldest is 6 I get stares all the time and yes my kids can certainly act out, but whos don't? Your posts are so fun to read I really enjoy reading them. Thanks for being so honest about motherhood.
ReplyDeleteI found you through your delightful letter. As a mother who has received plenty of those looks, etc. I was thrilled at how wonderfully you summed it all up. Thanks for sharing. You brought a smile to my face.
ReplyDeleteHaHa - great post!!!! I don't feel so bad about Zadia throwing up on the stewardess on a flight home to Boulder, after reading this.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great letter. I enjoyed it and had some pretty funny reminders of things that happened when I have been at the store or play ground.
ReplyDeleteI found the opinions intresting to read. There are some people who are just going to be negative about life no matter what the subject. I find it kind of funny!
Once again good job on the letter.
I died of laughter and tears. I am so happy that people can be more open and honest now a days! If only my parents could get a dose of this medicine!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
